Last weekend we attended the Eastern Whippet Specialty in York, PA. Lemmy did well although it was a long stressful week for both of us. Today at the Greater Daytona Dog Fanciers Assoc. show in Daytona, FL under judge Pete Dawkins Lemmy went WD/BW for his first point.

This is thanks to Marge Rogers, who is teaching us a lot in our Clicker Foundations class.
Lemmy had his first Clicker Foundations class on Wednesday the 24th. He did very well, although the class is more about training me than him. We are working on the target stick, food zen, touch and eye contact.
We showed in Ocala Friday and Saturday. Second in his class Friday (2 dogs) and first Saturday (only dog) but nothing else. He injured himself last weekend and was on crate rest/leash walks all week. He’s been looking a little bit gangly to me the past week but he’s still coming together nicely. He has wonderful curves, front fill and moderate rear angulation.

Lemmy attended his first race meet at the lovely sand track in Jacksonville. He went to practice on Friday and it didn’t take long for him to figure it out.
